Description:

Microsoft announced recently several new companies that would be releasing smartphones running its OS. It added Acer, Fujitsu, ZTE, and of course Nokia to the mix. Acer has revealed its first Windows Phone entry, the W4, on COMPUTEX expo in Taipei.

New smartphone will run a Qualcomm MSM8255 chip at 1GHz and features a 3.6-inch 480x800 display. Due to different sources it will be launched in September-October 2011.

-five-megapixel camera with auto-focus
-HSPA on 850/1900MHz for North America
-900/2100MHz for other markets
-no indication yet of the possibility for a 1700MHz version
-support for DLNA home media sharing
-802.11 b/g/n WiFi
-8GB of internal flash storage

Facebook is working on a specialised smartphone.The development with the help of technology manufacturer HTC started last year and the phone`s codename was Buffy. All these rumours claim that the company prepares to release its first specialised smartphone in the third quarter of 2012 at the earliest. Digitimes also says that this customised smartphone in fact is being developed by HTC and is aiming for a Q3 release.

According to DDaily (via UnwiredView), the LG D1L will be released in South Korea at the end of May but there is no information with regards to its global availability for now.

New smartphone has a 4.7-inch HD display, runs on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with LTE connectivity like the latest HTC One X, and features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Now Korean tech website DDaily claims that the device is built-in wireless charging which was also floating around about the Galaxy S3 (source - Ubergizmo.com).
