Apple will launch iPad Mini this coming October for between $200 and $250 (previous price tag - $249-$299). Moreover, new Apple`s product will also feature a display resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, identical to the panel on Apple’s new iPad (not the iPad 2 as it was stated earlier).

iPad mini will be produced by Foxconn and Pegatron and will appear on shelves in Q3 with the price about $249-$299.
Apple is rumored to be building an iPad mini, which supposedly is meant to go up against Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet.
The alleged iPad mini will feature a 7.85” display with the same resolution as the iPad 2 (1024х768 px).
