New laptop with 11,6" display from ASUS called UX21 is built from an aluminum alloy (weight 1.1kg / 2.4lb) and the thickest part of it is only 17mm. Due to information from Commercial Times it will have price less than $1000.

ASUS suggests to make official launch of its shiny new UX21 on October 11.

The CPUs can be specced as high as Core i7. Also ASUS UX21 features SATA III SSD, USB 3.0 connectivity, the ability to hibernate for up to one week, metal keyboard keys and trackpad made out of glass.
