Description:

The data about a new Nokia smartphone at Nokia's developer site has been withdrawn, but what was posted earlier paints the start of a picture for us.

Nokia listed the handset as running a 2008 Maemo tablet OS, which just sounds flat-out wrong. Other specs include 1.4GHz processor, a 3.7-inch 800x480 display, 8GB of flash storage, and 512MB of RAM. It sounds like new smartphone will have Windows Phone or Symbian Belle OS.

The latest stats over at Occasional Gamer reveal a Windows Phone 7 device self-identifying as the Nokia 710.

The device, due to rumors, will appear till the end of 2011.

All these rumours claim that the company prepares to release its first specialised smartphone in the third quarter of 2012 at the earliest. Digitimes also says that this customised smartphone in fact is being developed by HTC and is aiming for a Q3 release.

According to DDaily (via UnwiredView), the LG D1L will be released in South Korea at the end of May but there is no information with regards to its global availability for now.

New smartphone has a 4.7-inch HD display, runs on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with LTE connectivity like the latest HTC One X, and features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Now Korean tech website DDaily claims that the device is built-in wireless charging which was also floating around about the Galaxy S3 (source - Ubergizmo.com).
