Praktica introduces the luxmedia 14-Z5 compact digital camera, featuring a 14 Megapixel 1/2,3-inch CCD, 5x optical zoom lens and a 2.7 inch (6,9cm) TFT color monitor. The camera offers the usual set of features, such as smile detection, face tracking, digital antishake, blink detection, intelligent scene mode, 64 MB built-in memory, SDHC-support and 720x400 video at 30 fps. In the box you'll find the camera, a USB cable, TV cable, Image software, pouch, strap, manual, Li-ion rechargeable battery and charger.

NEX-7 was released recently and it was unveiled that it`s the first mirrorless camera to pack a 24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor. Unfortunately due to the flood in Thailand which affected Sony’s factories, the launch of the device was delayed. Now Engadget says that Sony Nex-7 after being beset with flooding-based delays, will take a bow at the end of February. The company's flagship mirrorless ILC will set you back $1,350 for the kit edition with an 18-55mm lens.
