Description:
Shure has come up with plenty of advanced audio solutions targeting professional users over the years, and now, the company's back with yet another very interesting offering, namely the SE215 Sound Isolating Earphone, featuring a newly developed Dynamic MicroDriver and a detachable cable.
The SE215 represents the entry-level model in the company's Sound Isolating Earphone line, joining the SE315, SE425, and SE535 models, that have already been available on the market for quite some time now, proving their worth time and time again.
The SE215 earphones come equipped with a Single Dynamic MicroDriver for detailed audio with enhanced bass and impressive sound isolation and are available in clear or translucent black, both versions featuring a detachable, Kevlar-reinforced cable with wireform fit for easy replacement or customization, that will actually help the earphones last a lot longer by reducing the risk of cable tears due to frequent usage.
Additionally, they also come with an accessories package that includes three pairs of disposable black foam sleeves (S, M, L), three pairs of soft flex sleeves (S, M. L) and a carrying case.
"Rounding out Shure's Sound Isolating Earphone line, the SE215 comes in at the lowest price point, but like the other models, maintains the superior sound quality, durability, and style for which Shure is known," said Matt Engstrom, Category Director for Monitoring Products at Shure.
"With the SE215, we now have a complete line of earphones with a detachable cable for audio and music enthusiasts at all levels," Mr. Engstrom concluded.
The brand-new Shure SE215 Sound Isolating Earphones will be available for purchase from select retailers in spring 2011, the estimated retail price being set at around $99 (MSRP, however, is set at $119 US Dollars), which is actually quite OK, taking into account not only the earphones' actual audio features, but also the contents of the sales package.

Mindflex Brainwave Game
For everyone who has ever wanted to be a Jedi, or maybe just telekinetic, the MindFlex will rock your world. But before we tell you about it, let's review situations where telekinesis would come in handy: pulling the TV remote from your significant other's hand, refilling your drink in the kitchen while watching TV in the living room, closing the curtains when the pesky neighbors try to watch your pay-per-view, saving that piece of popcorn before it hits the floor (sayonara, 5 second rule!). The possibilities are endless!
