Sony Alpha NEX-7

NEX-7 was released recently and it was unveiled that it`s the first mirrorless camera to pack a 24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor. Unfortunately due to the flood in Thailand which affected Sony’s factories, the launch of the device was delayed. Now Engadget says that Sony Nex-7 after being beset with flooding-based delays, will take a bow at the end of February. The company's flagship mirrorless ILC will set you back $1,350 for the kit edition with an 18-55mm lens.

Sony presents two tablets named S1 and S2. Both “Sony Tablets” are on their way to a global release in the fall - possibly sooner in the US (due to some information, we could purchase tablets this summer).

The VPL-VW90ES 3D projector is meant entirely for your living room, as Sony Professional is aiming it for the home theater enthusiast. And, by enthusiast, that may be an understatement. Featuring a dynamic contrast ratio of 150,000:1, you should be happy enough with the crisp images displayed on your . . . Wall. Sony’s also shoved their proprietary Advanced Iris 3 technology into the package. It will also utilize the same active glasses technology that Sony uses in their BRAVIA HDTV line-up.

Overview:
Maybe we're a bunch of idiots, but while the Flip and its ultra-simple camcorder ilk have certainly made shooting video simpler and more accessible for the masses, we still find many of these cameras surprisingly unintuitive or just "blah" at doing what they do (Kodak's otherwise excellent Zi8 and PlaySport cameras come to mind) when it comes to UI. After playing with the horrendous Flip Slide HD, we were almost sure touchscreens would act as another obstacle to using these things, but of all people, Sony has come to the rescue. We found the original Bloggie line very unimpressive, but this new Bloggie Touch crop is exactly as easy to use as you'd imagine a one button device would be.

Overview:
Sony has recently released two gaming headphones for the gaming crowd with the DR-GA500 and DR-GA200.
Both headphones will have 40 mm drive units, as well as a “triple enfolding” design to ensure they’re comfortable to wear. The DR-GA500 comes with “a Dolby Pro Logic IIx decoder to process your computer’s audio output into a 7.1-channel surround sound environment”, but the DR-GA200 does not have the 7.1 audio spec.
