ASUS Eee Reader DR900
Asus announced the arrival of its long awaited Eee Reader DR900 earlier this week, marking the industry's first 9-inch, touchscreen e-book reader. Taking a jab at Amazon's Kindle and other similarly sized devices, the company says its new e-reader offers 2.25 times the reading area of those with a 6-inch display.
ASUS Eee Note EA800
It looks like Asus finally got around to giving its upcoming device for reading eBooks and taking notes a sensible name. Goodbye Eee Tablet, hello Eee Note.
The Eee Note EA800 has an 8 inch, 768 x 1024 pixel grayscale display. The Wacam touchscreen works with a stylus and can handle 256 levels of pressure which should provide for a much more precise writing and drawing experience than you would get from most low cost color tablets.
ASUS Eee Reader TZ-900
Asus launched the Eee Reader, with a model number of TZ-900. The TZ-900 is a variant of the DR-900, and it’s based on a 9″ Sipix screen (1024 x 768 resolution). This particular model was modified to suit the members of Tzu Chi, a religious organization. The initial shipment of 5,000 units retailed for around $10,000 NTD ($323).

DR-950
ASUS is suddenly all chatty with its plans to enter the e-reader market in 2010. Just yesterday we got word of a 6-inch color (claimed to be OLED by InGear) e-reader from ASUS by the name of DR-570 headed to retail before the year is through. Now we've got details of a second ASUS e-reader, dubbed the DR-950 that should arrive sooner. This time we're looking at a 9-inch Sipix panel with 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution pushing 16-levels of gray just like the Jinke reader unveiled at CES.
